It is always frustrating when it feels like a teacher is being unfair and playing favorites. Picking some students over others for no apparent reason other than their own biases. This teacher sounds like an especially guilty suspect of favoritism, literally building in subjectivity to the grade system, and declaring students will almost definitely not receive an A, and it is up to her to decide if they have gone the extra mile to do so. Ironic, considering that she is teaching statistics, a decidedly unbiased subject at it's core.

These students from r/pettyrevenge decide to take matters into their own hands and go that extra mile she keeps talking about... by doing an independent project to prove using statistics that her grading practices are unfair. After doing just that and bringing it to the principle, sweet ironic justice is served, and everyone's grades become a little more... statistically objective.
